The calculator covers the period from January 2007 to the most recent month with available CPI data. This range includes all modern CPI series data published by the Statistical Office.

Bidirectional calculation lets you compute values both forward and backward in time. You can find out how much a past amount is worth today, or how much today's amount was worth in the past.

The calculator uses official Consumer Price Index (CPI) data published monthly by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (RZS). The CPI measures the average change in prices of a representative basket of goods and services.

The calculator uses the official CPI index values, which accurately reflect average price changes. However, individual purchasing power may vary depending on personal spending patterns compared to the standard CPI basket.

Cumulative inflation is the total percentage increase in prices over a given period. Unlike annual inflation, which measures year-over-year change, cumulative inflation compounds monthly changes across the entire selected timeframe.
